Housing Starts Explode to New Heights

RIS Media reports that new home starts have jumped 20.2% in April, "restoring themselves to what some are calling 'recovery highs', levels similar to November 2007." A U.S. Commerce Department report released several days ago measured housing starts for April at a 1.14 million annualized level. The 20.2% increase is the biggest jump recorded since 1991.
