In their consulting and training work, including presentations at major real estate and building industry conventions, Dennis and Teresa Walsh have averaged over 250 days a year on the road. This has not only given them a unique awareness of regional differences in design and construction, but has allowed them to establish relationships with thousands of real estate and building professionals throughout the nation. These relationships facilitate the ongoing development of strategies to support new home sales success.
Dennis and Teresa are authors of the Certified New Home Specialist™(CNHS), Residential Remodeling Specialist™ (RRS) and Residential Construction Certified™ (RCC) courses, as well as the book Real Estate’s Best Kept Secret.
Dennis Walsh grew up in a construction family learning all the various construction trades on a hands-on basis and began his own business as a carpenter and building contractor at age 16. He has owned and operated various construction-related businesses, gaining professional experience in custom home building, manufactured housing, building material sales, architectural design and new home sales and marketing.
Teresa Walsh earned her real estate license at age 19, worked in the banking industry and then operated a flooring installation business specializing in new construction. This background gives her experience in finance, interior design, real estate sales and marketing along with a thorough understanding of challenges faced by builders, buyers, sellers and others in the new construction and home improvement process.
Dennis and Teresa were also the founders of REbuildUSA in partnership with Lowe's Home Improvement based on their unique vision that drives Residential Remodeling Specialist™ training, business strategies and partnerships.
As a result, the Walsh’s bring a unique combination of real world experience, an awareness of people and markets from coast-to-coast and an ability to speak effectively to both professional and consumer audiences. Both have years of personal experience working one-on-one with consumers involved in the new home buying process.
